Affiliate disclosure
Hedgehog Chef has no ads. A few links to stores are affiliate links: if you buy something after following one, we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you.
Effective October 11, 2026 · Version 2026-10-11
As an Amazon Associate, Hedgehog Chef earns from qualifying purchases. Hedgehog Chef also participates in the Walmart affiliate program through Impact.
Where you'll see them
- Tools you don't have. In My kitchen, a tool you haven't added may show a small “Find one” link to Amazon.
That's all: links appear only where you'd want a link anyway, they're marked, and they're never banners, pop-ups or sponsored results.
What affiliate links don't change
- No ads, on any plan. We don't show advertising or sell placement. No company can pay to appear in your recipes, plans, lists or the planner's answers.
- Prices and suggestions aren't affected. Prices are shown for every store you chose, whether or not it has an affiliate program, and the planner never recommends a product or store because of a commission.
- Your data stays yours. We don't share who you are with Amazon, Walmart or Impact. When you follow a link, the store learns that you came from Hedgehog Chef (through a tag in the link) and handles your visit under its own privacy policy.
Turning them off
You can turn affiliate links off in Settings. Store links then go to the same pages without the affiliate tag.
