Hedgehog Chef is an ad-free recipe box, meal planner, shopping list and pantry for one cook or two, with an AI planner that turns “a week of dinners under $150” into a plan and a list.
Hedgehog Chef (formerly Coena) is made by Hedgehog Chef LLC. It works in any browser at app.hedgehogchef.com and installs from the browser on iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows.
Writing the name
- Hedgehog Chef, two words, both capitalized. After the first mention, “Hedgehog” is fine.
- The AI is “the AI planner”, or “the planner”.
- Not HedgeHog, Hedge Hog or HC.
