Grocery prices and sending a list to Kroger

Add your stores to see what your list, recipes and plan cost there. At Kroger-family stores you can also send items to your own Kroger cart.

Steps

  1. Open Settings › Stores & prices and use Find stores with your ZIP code (it's used for that search only, never saved).
  2. Turn on the stores you shop at.
  3. On a shopping list, open Price details to see what it costs.
  4. For a Kroger-family store, connect once in Settings › Stores & prices › Grocery accounts › Connect Kroger, and sign in to Kroger.
  5. On the list, tap Send to Kroger cart, pick the items, and add them. Check out in Kroger's app or site as usual.

Where the prices come from

  • live prices at Kroger-family stores (Kroger, Ralphs, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, Harris Teeter and more), from Kroger's product API.
  • community prices from Open Prices, with the date each was seen.
  • Otherwise, estimates from US average and typical prices for your state, always labeled as estimates (marked ≈).

Each kitchen can look up 300 live prices a day.

About the Kroger connection

It's your own Kroger account, connected for you only. Only what you pick is added, sending again adds it again, and Hedgehog can't see your orders or check out for you. Disconnect any time in Settings › Stores & prices.
