Getting started

Install the app on iPhone, Android or a computer

Hedgehog Chef installs straight from your browser: it opens full screen with its own icon and updates itself. There's no App Store or Google Play version yet.

Steps

  1. Open app.hedgehogchef.com and sign in.
  2. Follow the steps for your device below.
  3. Open Hedgehog from its new icon and sign in there if you're asked to.
  4. In the app, the setup checklist on Today has the same steps under Install Hedgehog on your phone › How?, with an Install now button when your browser offers one.

On the web, iPhone and Android

On the web

Chrome or Edge (Windows, Mac, Chromebook): click the install icon at the end of the address bar. Safari on Mac: File › Add to Dock.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open app.hedgehogchef.com in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.

Android

  1. Open app.hedgehogchef.com in Chrome.
  2. Tap Install app when Chrome offers it, or tap ⋮ then Install app or Add to Home screen.

Updates

The app updates itself. A new version waits until you're not cooking, editing or importing, then loads.
