Connect Claude
Add Hedgehog Chef as a custom connector in Claude, and you can save recipes, plan meals and update your list from any Claude chat. It takes about a minute.

Steps
- In Claude, open Settings › Connectors and choose Add custom connector.

Name it Hedgehog Chef and paste
https://app.hedgehogchef.com/mcp, then choose Add. - Choose Connect. Sign in to Hedgehog Chef if asked.
- On the consent page, check the kitchen and choose Allow.
- In a chat, try “Save this recipe to Hedgehog Chef” with a link, text or a photo.
On the web, iPhone and Android
On the web
Claude Code: run claude mcp add --transport http --scope user hedgehogchef https://app.hedgehogchef.com/mcp, then /mcp and Authenticate.
iPhone and iPad
Add the connector on claude.ai or in the Claude desktop app; it then works in Claude's iPhone app too.
Android
Same as iPhone: add it on the web or desktop, and it works in Claude's Android app.
Disconnecting
In Hedgehog, open Settings › Claude and use Disconnect next to the connection under Connected apps. Changing your password, or being removed from the kitchen, also turns connections off. The steps are also in Settings › Claude, with the URL ready to copy.

Connected before the move to the new address?
Connectors added with an address from before the rename stop working. Remove that connector in Claude and add it again with https://app.hedgehogchef.com/mcp.
