Scale a recipe and convert units
Use the servings control above the ingredients to scale, and the units switch to show US or metric. The recipe itself doesn't change.

- Open the recipe.
- Above the ingredients, tap − or + to change servings, or tap the number for Half, Double, Triple or Original.
- To convert, choose Original, US or Metric in the units switch.
- Start cooking or Print and the same scale and units carry over.
What conversion does
Volumes convert to volumes and weights to weights, using exact measures (1 cup is 236.6 ml). A cup of flour isn't turned into grams, because that depends on the ingredient. The units switch shows when a recipe has something to convert. A recipe with no servings set scales in batches.
